Decision Making Workshops, Leadership Development, and Keynote Speaking

Over the course of a day, we make countless decisions in our professional and personal worlds.

From tiny and insignificant to large and consequential, the decisions we make determine every aspect of our lives.

They shape our teams, organizations, workload, morale, profit, and more–which is why we’re always striving to make better ones.

But how can we confidently make decisions under imperfect circumstances?
How do you make a choice in the face of uncertainty or incomplete information?
What’s the best way to come to collective agreements when there are differing opinions?

Michelle here, decision engineer and executive coach for high-achieving humans who are overwhelmed by the number of decisions they have to make–and need help getting unstuck ASAP.

For more than a decade, I’ve taught and coached people on how to make decisions with less stress and more clarity.

I’ve done this in a 1:1 setting with executives from startups to Fortune 500 tech giants, in classrooms with students at Stanford Continuing Studies and Stanford’s Designing Your Life courses, and in front of audiences across the globe.

The method of delivery might vary, but the outcome rarely does: Leaders leave feeling more equipped to face day-to-day challenges, confident in their decisions, and with clarity on their path forward… and ready to share their knowledge with those around them.

I partner with organizations to create interactive workshops and talks that participants walk from with tools, language, and frameworks they can apply to decisions they’re currently facing, as well as future challenges.

The result? Reduced stress and greater efficiency.

Potential topics to explore include:

  • How to Make Better, Faster Decisions as a Team

  • Overcoming Decision Fatigue: What To Do When You’re Completely Spent

  • Facing A Big Decision? Why You Shouldn’t Use A Pro/Con List

  • Stop Agonizing, Start Doing: How To Know You've Made The Right Decision

  • Making Good Decisions When You Don’t Have All the Information You Need

  • How to Be a Better Thought Partner in Decision Making

Delivered online or in-person, we’ll work together to tailor the workshop or talk to the specific needs of your team and organization.

Give your team the gift of knowing how to better navigate decision making, using the principles from decision science.

If you think decision engineering is boring, you haven’t met me. 🤓

"I had such a great experience inviting Michelle to facilitate a decision-making workshop. Michelle offered really powerful tools for weighing our options, clarifying our priorities, and moving forward with confidence in our decisions. This is actually the third time (or perhaps fourth!) I've taken this workshop with Michelle and each time, I get so much out of it. Michelle is a leader in this space and is able to share her expertise in a clear, accessible way. Highly recommend!"
